HALLOWEEN TREE

MY HALLOWEEN TREE!!

I LOVE HALLOWEEN, THE COSTUMES, THE CANDY, AND THE SPOOKY DECORATING!!  NEXT TO CHRISTMAS, IT IS FAVORITE HOLIDAY :) THIS YEAR WE DECIDED TO ADD A HALLOWEEN TREE TO OUR FESTIVE DECOR!  WE MADE THIS TREE IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES...SO EASY.  THIS IS MY KIND OF CRAFT!  WE USED ONLY A FEW SUPPLIES...

1. POT   ( I USED ONE FROM AN UNUSED CHRISTMAS TREE I HAD STORED IN THE BASEMENT)

2.  BLACK CHALKBOARD PAINT ( I LOVE THIS PAINT!  I USE IT FOR SO MANY CRAFTS)

3.  FALLEN BRANCHES FROM OUR NEIGHBORHOOD PARK

4.  GLITTER  (GOTTA LOVE IT!!!)

5.  RIVER ROCKS (I ALSO HAD THESE STORED IN THE BASEMENT...I KNEW I COULD USE THEM FOR SOMETHING...YEAH!)

6.  GLITTER ORNAMENTS BOUGHT ON SALE FROM PIER ONE...LOVE THESE!!

I SIMPLY FILLED THE POT WITH ROCKS (IT ALREADY HAD SOME  STYROFOAM IN THE BASE FROM THE CHRISTMAS TREE).  I STUCK THE BRANCHES IN THE POT.  I TRIED TO MAKE IT LOOK AS REALISTIC AS POSSIBLE.  I SPRAY PAINTED EVERYTHING WITH THE BLACK CHALKBOARD PAINT AND  SPRINKLED A TON OF GLITTER ON THE WET PAINT. (MY FAVORITE STEP)  I WAITED FOR EVERYTHING TO DRY AND DECORATED WITH THE ORNAMENTS.  THE PICTURE DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE.  IT IS REALLY CUTE IN PERSON:)  I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!
